Members of the Saudi British Society were taken on an exclusive hour-long guided tour and enjoyed a unique opportunity to view an exceptional selection of artworks from Marwan’s extensive career. The exhibits included his early figurations through to his iconic facial landscapes and Marionette series.
The retrospective curated a range of his important paintings, works on paper and editions from 1953 to 2014, and offered a rare chance to engage with Marwan’s distinctive and inspiring oeuvre through remarkable works that have never before been presented together.
The visit was coordinated and run by SBS Trustee, Dr Ghadah Alharthi, who welcomed all Members to the venue and ensured an amazing time was had by all. Following the tour, the group enjoyed two hours together in the café to reflect on the art, network and socialise.
