The Saudi British Society is proud to host a wide range of events, lectures and presentations, showcasing the rich cultural palettes of, and relationships between, the Middle East and the Western World. Delving into both macro and micro subjects, the Society’s lectures look at past, present and future, and offer unique insights into a fascinating region and a vitally important relationship.

The Chairman and Board of Trustees of The Saudi British Society are delighted to host the 2020 Ghazi al Gosaibi Memorial Lecture on Thursday 3rd December from 1700 to 1800 / 5pm to 6pm UK Time. Our Speaker on this occasion will be Baria Alamuddin, international journalist and broadcaster and her topic for the Lecture is ‘Ghazi Gosaibi: the man, the reformer and his ideals for women being implemented in Saudi Arabia‘. The event will be hosted on Zoom by our Chairman Sir William Patey.
