The Chairman and Board of Trustees of The Saudi British Society were delighted to host the 2020 Ghazi al Gosaibi Memorial Lecture on Thursday 3rd December from 1700 to 1800 / 5pm to 6pm UK Time.
As with so many of our events since the Covid-19 pandemic impacted our lives, we relied on Zoom conferencing technology, hosted by our Chairman Sir William Patey.
Our Speaker on this occasion was Baria Alamuddin, international journalist and broadcaster and her topic for the Lecture was ‘Ghazi Gosaibi: the man, the reformer and his ideals for women being implemented in Saudi Arabia‘.
